The Director of Loyalty Programs will have a key role in the growth and expansion of Boingo’s Comes with Boingo line of business (http://www.boingo.com/business-services/loyalty/). The role is expected to manage and lead sales activity within specified channel partners, industry segments and/or other partners. 

 The right candidate must be able to interface comfortably with key contacts within strategic accounts, sales contacts, both internally and with external partners, and possess a proven ability to work with minimal supervision and deliver tangible results. Strong ability to help drive through the sales cycle process, experience with deployment schedules and enablement of sales channels are key to the success in this role.

 Boingo is looking for a seasoned, high-performance individual with strong organizational skills, attention to detail and self-management driven by results. The ability to think quickly and analytically to resolve issues independently is critical.

 Responsibilities:

  • Lead sales activities of Comes with Boingo loyalty program, acting as primary point of contact for large financial institutions including Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
  • Grow revenue through award of new contract / accounts.
  • Manage existing accounts, including:
    • Forecasting pipeline and negotiating new deals (inside sales)
    • Conducting Quarterly Business Reviews
    • Facilitating renewal process with existing agreements
    • Identifying performance improvement areas: audit and review various KPI to determine channel partners that need improvements or new solutions
    • Identify growth areas: Reseller opportunities, new footprint opportunities and new entrants into Loyalty Program
  • Work with internal technical and operational staff to obtain various measurement for each account and to develop relevant presentations to Channel Partners.
  • Evaluate high level technical requirements from Channel Partners to help develop solutions for Boingo technical staff.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and key stakeholders to successfully meet needs of Channel Partner deployments.
  • Support global deployments of Boingo sales channel partners.

 Requirements:

  •  7 to 10 years of business development and/or account management experience
  • Telecom/Wireless and Wi-Fi industry experience is seen favorably
  • Knowledge of Wi-Fi roaming concepts and technology is desired
  • Experience with loyalty program benefits, particular for large credit card companies is desirable
  • Ability to manage multiple contract negotiations and relationships simultaneously
  • Proficient in presentation skills, with high level of comfort and confidence in self ability
  • Proven experience with financial modeling
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to clearly communicate to varying functional roles within partners
  • Bachelor degree required
  • Willingness to travel
