The Edge Academy is the education resource for marketers, buyers and academia to be inspired by the future of digital marketing and current industry topics. We develop video and written content for our target audiences.

The Director, Go-to-Market and Partnerships is a team leader who owns the go-to-market (GTM) plans, partnerships, analytics and operations for the Edge Academy. This person has experience in preparing GTM plans, thinking strategically about the tactics that will support our goals and how to measure & showcase success. With a small team, this person is also responsible for establishing the operations in the team that will keep us running efficiently & working with internal stakeholders to execute.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Demonstrated success as a small team leader
  • Ability to motivate a team
  • Keep your team and key stakeholders working towards milestones and timelines, anticipating possible roadblocks and proposing solutions along the way
  • Guiding your team, while leaning heavily on internal experts, to pull our data into a data warehouse and then into Tableau
  • Guide the team member who is managing our Tableau dashboard – ensure we’re thinking of future success metrics and how to collect & share data to support our team’s growth
  • Constantly re-visit operational processes and think about how we can make it more efficient for your team and the wider team
  • Regular tracking of our key success metrics and sharing that out with our leadership team
  • Input into the Edge budget for marketing along with your manager, the GM
  • Implement ways for the team to collect feedback on the courses through surveys, interviews with stakeholders or consultations with clients. Distill this feedback into a recommendation for the content creators to implement.
  • Uses our data to support why we are choosing a certain tactic or approach going forward
  • Willing to implement new GTM tactics and strategies to support our team goals
  • Prepare presentations for discussion with leadership to represent our GTM plan, “always on” marketing presence, success metrics that showcase & support our continued growth
  • Work with the internal creative department to refresh the Edge marketing creative when needed
  • Build strong, collaborative partnerships within the team and across various levels inside and outside of the organization to identify and address education needs
  • Work with internal business teams to engage with interested customers who want to expand their partnerships with Edge
  • Develops trust with key stakeholders and senior leadership you are working with
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize workflow, and meet time sensitive deadlines
  • Is a team player – communicating and openly sharing learnings across the team

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • BA or BS degree in a relevant field such as business, education, organizational development or Marketing
  • Experience working in programmatic trading or client services
  • 8+ years' experience
  • Previously a manager of small teams
  • Detail oriented, organized, methodical, quality conscious with the ability to multi-task and manage priorities
  • Ability to travel when needed
  • Experience in the industry and/or on The Trade Desk platform, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Office 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective time management skills – ability to prioritize and meet deadlines 
  • Experience planning and coordinating training, large meeting, or events
  • Curious, love trying new teaching techniques and testing new ideas
