As our Director of DMV - Titles and Registration

You must have a go-getter mindset and passion for the automotive industry while working in a high growth environment at an early stage and well-funded startup. Our team is small but growing, so your role is crucial to the future growth plans of the business.

You will be responsible for directing and managing all aspects of the Titles and Registration process. While operating in this role, specific duties will include:

  • Provide strategy to ensure we consistently meet KPIs 
  • Onboard new vendors and analyze vendor performance to ensure that they are abiding by our contracted agreements
  • Identify areas of improvement with current processes as well as with the vendor and team's performance
  • Maintaining knowledge of DMV laws
  • Communicate with vendors to resolve any breaks in process
  • Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely receipt and processing of all titles and registration work

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience managing teams in multiple locations
  • 5+ years of DMV & titles and registration industry 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
  • Detail oriented with ability to make good judgments and solve problems
  • Effective time management and strong organizational skills
  • High-level of autonomy required
  • Effective oral and written communication, interpersonal, planning, and organization skills; strong follow-up skills
  • Strong analytical, and leadership skills; project management is a plus
  • Demonstrated experience and success driving performance in a high energy fast paced environment
