Job Functions:

  • Manage physical, digital and video releases Caroline Distributed Labels
  • Heavy focus on catalog ingestion, new partner onboarding
  • Scheduling products in Digital & Physical Supply Chain scheduling modules and business systems
  • Product & Track level metadata entry & management; including digital product build and asset assignment in R2
  • Submission, review and management of digital content and assets according to the Digital Supply Chain rules and standards
  • Coordinate parts orders for audio uploads with Universal Music Studios
  • Manage requests for UPC numbers & generic ISRCs
  • Advise new label partners on best practices and offer suggestions on data amendments to meet UMG requirements
  • Coordinate with UMG Royalties & Copyright department on video clearance requests
  • Key point of contact for international releases coming through Caroline for US distribution
  • Manage the content scheduled for release through the Digital Supply Chain from the set-up of the products to the delivery of the finished goods at our digital, mobile and video partners
  • Manage any partner restrictions/exceptions or rights restrictions on scheduled products
  • Liaise with the UMG Digital Supply Chain to ensure that content and data sent into the Supply Chain meets the required delivery standards of UMG delivery partners
  • Troubleshoot metadata issues on live products

  • Strong organizational, administrative and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Experience:

  • 1-3 years of previous record label experience
  • Knowledge of and previous experience in Record Label operations process
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Basic Photoshop, InDesign experience a plus
  • Familiarity with key record label operations terms and assets; i.e. ISRC, UPC, publishers, wav files, DDP
  • Comfortable with data heavy projects

Education:

  • Degree preferred
