Classified Network Engineer III/IV

Key Functions
- Lead and/or support major network, WAN and network security projects to support new initiatives, capacity, life-cycle management, upgrades, new products and/or features, and integration in classified and unclassified environments.
- Provide technical leadership for core networking and network security. Create and maintain documentation for network using Netbrain or Microsoft Visio
- Optimize stability, availability, reliability and performance of network and network services.
- Coordinates and communicates ongoing tasks with other teams for infrastructure updates, and customer notifications.
- Interfaces with user community to understand needs and designs and implements solutions to accommodate them
- Collaborates with other infrastructure teams in the architecture governance process. Provides technical guidance to project team areas as appropriate
- Tracks industry trends, conducts research, and maintains knowledge of new technologies to provide the organization with optimal solutions
- Work in a Cisco technology based network that includes Cisco Catalyst switches, Nexus data center switches, ASR and ISR routers, ASA and Firepower firewalls, WSA Ironport web proxies and ISE.
Required Qualifications Staff III
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or 10 years of experience in lieu of degree.
- 10 or more years of relevant experience
- Extensive hands-on experience working with Cisco ASA & Firepower firewalls, Web Security Appliances
- Extensive hands-on experience working with Cisco ISE, AnyConnect and AMP
- Experience working with Cisco ASR, ISR Routers and IWAN/SDWAN, SRST implementations
- Experience wtih Cisco Catalyst 9400, 6500, 4500, 3650 switches
- Experience with Cisco Nexus Data Center Switches
- Experience with network integration with a Cisco UC environment.
Required Qualifications Staff IV
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or 10 years of experience in lieu of degree.
- 15 or more years of relevant experience
- Ability to effectively lead project teams on implementing complex network and network security projects
- Extensive hands-on experience working with Cisco ASA & Firepower firewalls, Web Security Appliances
- Extensive hands-on experience working with Cisco ISE, Stealthwatch AnyConnect & AMP
- Extensive hands-on experience working with Cisco Network Management including Prime Infrastructure and/or DNA Center
- Experience working with Cisco ASR, ISR Routers and IWAN/SDWAN, SRST implementations
- Experience wtih Cisco Catalyst 9400, 6500, 4500, 3650 switches
- Experience with Cisco Nexus Data Center Switches
- Experience with network integration with a Cisco UC environment.

- CompTIA Security +

Preferred Qualifications
- Cisco Certification Desired, CCNP or CCIE
- Experience with Citrix Netscalers
Physical Requirements/Work Environments
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to use a computer to complete activities.
- Ability to communicate with individuals and groups in person, by phone and telepresence.
