We are helping millions save when they shop online, and we're hiring! We are actively seeking a Business Management Director to join the Revenue team in our Los Angeles office.

 

About The Role:

As a Business Management Director, you will work directly with business executives and leaders on business projects and growth opportunities. Reporting directly to the President, you will oversee long-term initiatives that include assessing market opportunities, developing go-to-market strategies, and driving the associated business planning processes. You'll fully immerse yourself in data collection, draw insight from analysis, and then develop compelling, synthesized recommendations. You are comfortable with structuring complicated issues and finding creative solutions to business challenges. You will work cross-functionally in a rapidly evolving company and demonstrate problem-solving leadership with limited oversight.

 

What You'll Do:

As the Business Management Director at Honey, you will:

  • Identify and develop strategic opportunities for the business with a view of diversifying the consumer base and gaining an additional share of the market
  • Provide short and long-term strategic recommendations to the business’s executives that are meant to develop and capitalize business opportunities
  • Partner closely with FP&A to drive business decisions 
  • Build analytical models and perform regular financial, competitive, performance, and market analyses for the business in order to comprehensively value business opportunities and ensure well-founded strategies are presented to the relevant leadership
  • Collaborate across the organization with top leadership, aiding in individualized strategy formulation for different projects and initiatives
  • Develop and leverage frameworks to help structure the team's thinking, facilitate alignment on key strategic decisions among various stakeholders, and identify the 80/20 opportunities to reach insightful, actionable answers

 

About You:

  • Undergraduate degree required; MBA from a top university preferred 
  • 5+ years of general work experience, including experience at a strategy consulting firm or investment bank 
  • Deep understanding of internet and digital business models, strategies, and eco-systems is preferred
  • Ability to be highly productive with no oversight on day to day basis
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
