At NEXT Trucking we are searching for an Asset Manager that can lead the management of transportation asset inventory and utilization. The ideal candidate has experience managing trailers and cabs for an asset-based logistics company with hundreds of trucks.

What you will do:

Compiling monthly utilization and inventory reports and distributing to management

Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with over/underutilization

Direct equipment repositioning throughout the network for orientation and eliminate waste

Monitor equipment in/out service process including decals, tags, registration, and electronics

Work with upper management and make recommendations that impact P&L’s

What you will need:

2+ years transportation management

Experience managing trucks/trailers at a mid-sized transportation company.

Proficient in safety and DOT trucking regulation

A positive and can do attitude

Proficient in Microsoft Office
