Account Manager

The internet is experiencing a transformation – ad blindness and blocking are forcing media companies and advertisers to rethink the way they connect with consumers. This evolution is changing the way we consume content and how we interact with brands. Nativo is enabling this shift by developing the new technologies, data insights, and best practices that will power this next generation of media and advertising.
We invite you to join us for an exciting and rewarding experience, as an Account Manager, in our fast-growing CA based team. Account Managers are an integral part of the company and provide the foundation for Nativo’s rapid growth. They work closely with brand and agency clients to determine how we can best serve their needs, capture the attention of consumers and create innovative and compelling native advertising campaigns that deliver results.

What you'll do:

  • Provide product, campaign, and strategic guidance to ensure customer and campaign success
  • Educate clients on how native advertising and the Nativo platform can contribute to their existing media plans
  • Develop creative concepts and optimization strategies to maximize campaign performance
  • Summarize the creative concepts, engagement metrics and campaign deliverables in proposals
  • Upon request, present this strategy to clients and help mold the strategy and concepts pending client feedback
  • Setup and manage campaigns, assist with asset collection, content creation, assembly and third-party tags
  • Work with cross-functional teams on campaign development and launch
  • Throughout the campaign, monitor daily delivery and performance, and lead client check-in calls
  • Own the campaign optimization process and develop best practices to be applied across future campaigns
  • Work closely with Ad Operations to ensure campaigns are pacing and performing on target
  • Document how strategy maps back to campaign goals, articulate the data story and rationale for the campaign
  • Assemble post-campaign reports, which include analysis of performance, key takeaways, insights and learnings
  • Present campaign conclusions and wrap ups to clients
  • Work with the respective sales person to determine the best next steps for renewals
  • Advocate product enhancement requests with cross-functional internal teams
  • Accurately identify, replicate, and document product enhancements, both self-identified and customer-requested
  • Develop a thorough understanding of internal process, team member responsibilities, and internal timelines so services can be accurately and effectively presented to the client
  • Organize and coordinate demonstrations with sales team, where applicable
  • Provide guidance to a growing team of Account Coordinators and Creative resources
  • Report to the Account Management Team Lead and support the growing Nativo Sales Organization

What you need:

  • 2-4 years of experience as an account or media person at an advertising/creative agency or media property
  • Exposure/usage and understanding of the digital media ecosystem and advertising technologies
  • Resourceful, quick-witted, and creative, comfortable coming up with ideas on the spot
  • Knowledge of and experience of creative design, messaging, and marketing to brand KPIs

  • Advertising agency experience is a plus but not a requirement
  • Ability to assemble and analyze data to tell a story about performance and optimization
  • Manage deliverables and communicate effectively with team members and management
