Position Summary: Administers recurring or daily functions or processes necessary for business execution and identifies opportunities for improvement or efficiencies. Directly supervise and coordinate activities of transportation and material-moving machines and vehicle operators and helpers.

Essential Duties and Functions: To perform this job successfully, the individual occupying this position must be able to perform essential job functions set forth below with or without reasonable accommodation.   • Enforce safety rules and regulations, at the local, state and federal levels.
  • Plan work assignments and equipment allocations to meet transportation, operations, or production goals.
  • Confer with customers, supervisors, contractors, and other personnel to exchange information and to resolve problems.
  • Advise workers in transportation or related services, such as moving, storing, and loading or unloading of materials.
  • Resolve worker problems or collaborate with employees to assist in problem resolution.
  • Recommend and implement measures to improve worker motivation, equipment performance, work methods, and customer services.
  • Maintain or verify records of time, materials, expenditures, and crew activities.
  • Prepare, compile, and submit reports on work activities, operations, production, and work-related accidents.
  • Plan and establish transportation routes.
  • Ensures compliance with regulated vehicle Inspections and monitors stock to ensure quality. 
  • Ensure completion of repairs and preventative maintenance of vehicles.
  • Dispatch personnel and vehicles in response to daily shipment logs
  • Conduct origin agent assignments at customer residences to prepare for upcoming projects or at the request of other agents.

Technology Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and outlook.
  • Competent with Microsoft Teams.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities): The following are required to enable job holders to perform the essential functions of the job

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • At least 5 years of related experience
  • Ability to foster teamwork
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements: Physical demands listed below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • Assures that safety regulations are followed at all times
  • Follows policies and procedures including infection control, universal pre-cautions and exposure control plans when performing daily tasks.
  • Reports hazardous conditions, accidents, and incidents to the immediate supervisor
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs.
  • Requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching in the office & warehouse setting.
  • Exposure to heat, cold, dust, noise, or chemicals in the office and warehouse setting.
  • Some travel required.

  • Annual Gross Profit $ - Annual bonus opportunity target of $6,000.00 if branch gross profit budget is met on the following Bonus Scale:
