JOB PURPOSE:
Amazon is one of Unilever's most strategic customers and a critical growth driver for our Beauty & Wellbeing and Personal Care businesses.
The dCom Content, Catalog Strategy & Digital Shelf Operations Manager will lead Amazon content, catalog, and digital shelf excellence across a portfolio of iconic brands. This role is responsible for building best-in-class shopper experiences, driving digital shelf performance, and developing scalable content and catalog capabilities that accelerate growth.

Success in this role requires a blend of strategic thinking, operational excellence, digital commerce expertise, and cross-functional leadership. You'll partner with Brand, Shopper Marketing, Customer Development, Supply Chain, Technology, Analytics, and external partners to transform how Unilever delivers product content and experiences across Amazon and other eRetailers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Content & Digital Shelf Strategy

  • Lead Amazon product content strategy, governance, and optimization across priority brands.
  • Ensure product detail pages deliver compelling, compliant, shopper-centric experiences that drive conversion.
  • Establish standards and best practices for content quality, SEO, discoverability, and digital shelf excellence.
  • Drive scalable content processes that improve speed to market and execution quality.

Catalog & Product Data Management

  • Own Amazon catalog health and product data governance.
  • Lead ASIN setup, maintenance, variation management, and issue resolution.
  • Develop scalable operating models and processes that improve data quality and reduce operational defects.
  • Partner with technology teams to enhance and automate product information management and syndication capabilities.

Search, Discoverability & Conversion

  • Lead search optimization strategies to improve visibility and traffic quality.
  • Leverage analytics and experimentation to enhance discoverability, conversion, and shopper engagement.
  • Partner with Retail Media teams to align organic and paid search strategies.

Growth & Innovation

  • Drive incremental growth through Virtual Bundles, Virtual Multipacks, and other digital shelf opportunities.
  • Identify and implement automation and AI-enabled solutions that improve content and catalog operations.
  • Continuously evaluate emerging Amazon capabilities and shopper trends to unlock growth opportunities.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for Amazon content, catalog, and digital shelf strategy.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives across Brand, Customer Development, Supply Chain, Finance, Technology, and Analytics teams.
  • Influence stakeholders and drive adoption of new capabilities, processes, and ways of working.
  • Manage key agency, technology, and external partner relationships.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Digital Commerce, eCommerce, Amazon, Product Content, Catalog Operations, Product Data Management, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of Amazon ecosystems, digital shelf strategy, content optimization, and catalog management.
  • Demonstrated success leading large-scale cross-functional initiatives and driving business transformation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience leveraging data to drive decisions.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience within Beauty, Personal Care, or Consumer Packaged Goods.
  • Familiarity with Amazon Vendor Central, Seller Central, Brand Registry, Retail Analytics, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with Product Information Management (PIM), syndication platforms, and content operations.
  • Experience leveraging automation, AI, or digital transformation capabilities.

Pay: The pay range for this position is $103,000 to $154,400. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs. 

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible. 

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
