Description
Sprout Social is looking to hire a Operations Lead, Partner Operations for the Revenue Operations team.

What you’ll do

  • Collaborate closely with Partnerships, Sales, and Marketing leadership to shape, influence, and drive long-term partner strategy aligned with company goals.
  • Lead operational execution for new and evolving partner initiatives, including channel programs, enablement strategies, and incentives.
  • Define and implement scalable systems and policy frameworks for partner portals and CRM platforms.
  • Establish and own key success metrics: define KPIs, track performance, and analyze outcomes to optimize partner effectiveness.
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to design scalable programs and processes that enable growth across diverse markets and routes to market.
  • Interpret and synthesize feedback from internal stakeholders and external partners to drive high-impact, strategic projects and continuous process improvements.
  • Enhance and maintain data integrity and reporting infrastructure across Salesforce and partner enablement tools.
  • Monitor the health of partner programs, identify and diagnose performance blockers, and deliver proactive, data-driven, actionable recommendations and insights to leadership.
  • Act as a strategic advisor, developing forward-looking strategies to evolve Sprout’s partner ecosystem and accelerate revenue growth through optimized partner motions.

What you’ll bring
We’re seeking a candidate who seamlessly balances strategic acumen with executional excellence, particularly in a fast-paced SaaS or Enterprise environment. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing decision-making across Sales, Marketing, Enablement, and Product. You bring a deep understanding of partner ecosystems, operational best practices, and experience shaping policies and systems (e.g., portal design, MDF management, reporting frameworks). You're comfortable operating autonomously, navigating ambiguity, and using data to drive long-term impact.  Strong analytical skills and the ability to tell compelling stories with data to guide decision-making are essential. You have a strong sense of ownership, a bias for action, and a humble, solutions-oriented mindset.

The minimum qualifications for this role include:

  • 6–8+ years of progressive experience in partner operations or a related function within Revenue Operations, with a proven track record of owning and driving strategic initiatives that enable growth and performance.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and working knowledge of partner management platforms (e.g., Impartner, Tackle.io); strong fluency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite tools (Excel, GSheets) to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Demonstrated success in designing, implementing, and scaling partner programs or operations.
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive complex projects from ideation to execution.

Preferred qualifications for this role include:

  • Experience managing global distribution channel operations.
  • Hands-on involvement in building or enhancing partner portals and workflows.
  • A deep understanding of indirect sales models and partner attribution frameworks.

How you’ll grow:

Within 1 month, you’ll plant your roots, including:

  • Completing Sprout Social’s new hire training & onboarding program alongside other experienced team members.
  • Gaining a deep understanding of our partner ecosystem, products, and strategic goals.
  • Establishing relationships with key cross-functional stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, RevOps, and Product.
  • Conducting a review of current partner operations processes and identifying immediate optimization opportunities.

Within 3 months, you’ll start hitting your stride by:

  • Leading medium-scale partner initiatives with cross-functional visibility.
  • Proactively identifying and implementing process and system improvements to streamline partner operations.
  • Establishing success metrics and reporting structures for partner performance and growth.
  • Collaborating with RevOps leadership to align operational initiatives with broader business goals.

Within 6 months, you’ll be making a clear impact through:

  • Delivering measurable improvements in partner engagement, enablement, and performance tracking.
  • Designing and deploying scalable frameworks or tools that support partner growth and operational excellence.
  • Serving as a key advisor to Partner and Sales leadership on operational strategy and execution.
  • Driving cross-functional initiatives that elevate the maturity and impact of partner operations.

Within 12 months, you’ll make this role your own by:

  • Leading the end-to-end execution of complex, high-impact partner operations programs.
  • Acting as a strategic thought leader across Partner, Sales, and Revenue Operations teams.
  • Driving long-term vision and continuous improvement for Sprout’s partner operations model.
  • Mentoring newer team members and shaping best practices across the organization.

Of course what is outlined above is the ideal timeline, but things may shift based on business needs and other projects and tasks could be added at the discretion of your manager.

However, we are not set up in all states, so please look at the drop-down box in our application to see whether your state is listed. Few roles require an office setting. If your position requires a physical presence in a Sprout office, it will be evident in the job listing and your offer letter.

The listed ranges represent the full earning potential in this position. Starting salaries for well-qualified new hires are typically around the midpoint of the range. These ranges were determined by a market-based compensation approach; we used data from trusted third-party compensation sources to set equitable, consistent, and competitive ranges. We also evaluate compensation bi-annually, identify any changes in the market and make adjustments to our ranges and existing employee compensation as needed.

Base pay is only one element of an employee's total compensation at Sprout. Every Sprout team member has an opportunity to receive restricted stock units (RSUs) under Sprout’s equity plan. Employees (and their dependents) are covered by medical, dental, vision, basic life, accidental death, and dismemberment insurance, and Modern Health (a wellness benefit).  Employees are able to enroll in Sprout’s company’s 401k plan, in which Sprout will match 50% of your contributions up to 6% with a maximum contribution. Sprout offers “Flexible Paid Time Off” and ten paid holidays. We have outlined the various components to an employee’s full compensation package here to help you to understand our total rewards package.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
