About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Operations Coordinator to join our fast-growing startup. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the office, supporting staff across departments, and maintaining a professional and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic setting, is detail-oriented, and enjoys helping others succeed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily office operations to ensure the team has what they need to work efficiently.

  • Manage office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships, anticipating needs before they arise.

  • Serve as the first point of contact for office-related inquiries, both internally and externally.

  • Support onboarding of new hires, including workspace setup, equipment, and welcome logistics.

  • Assist with company-wide meetings and events, from all-hands to team offsites.

  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and general office organization.

  • Partner with HR and finance on administrative tasks such as expense reports, benefits coordination, and maintaining records.

  • Spot inefficiencies and propose simple systems or processes to help the company scale smoothly.

  • Help foster a positive culture by organizing team activities, celebrations, and employee engagement initiatives.

  • Provide general administrative support for leadership and cross-functional teams as needed.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience as an Office Administrator, Office Manager, or in a similar operations/administrative role

  • Adaptable and flexible–comfortable juggling priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Highly organized, detail oriented, and resourceful

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; approachable and supportive

  • Proficient in a variety of office workplace tools (Google Workspace, Slack, Linear, etc)

  • A self-starter who takes ownership and get things done with minimal supervision

Nice-to-Have

  • Event planning and coordination experience

  • Familiarity with office build-outs or workspace management during scaling phases

  • An interest in tech startup culture and helping shape a great employee experience

  • Experience supporting HR, recruiting, or finance functions

  • Scheduling, calendar management, and travel arrangement knowledge

Location:

Our team is based in El Segundo, CA. This role will be required to be onsite 4 days a week, Mondays-Thursdays. We’re open to relocating the right candidate to LA.

Salary range: $60,000 - $100,000 per year. Plus equity and benefits.
