Ghost Story Games is a self-publishing game development studio founded by Ken Levine (Creative Director of System Shock 2, Bioshock, and Bioshock Infinite) and former Irrational Games developers.  The studio’s mission is to create narrative-driven experiences rooted in immersive world building and gameplay. 

The Challenge: 

Ghost Story Games is seeking a talented Operations Coordinator to join us on Judas, the highly anticipated game led by Ken Levine (System Shock 2, BioShock series). Unique in its bold, creative vision, Judas is also built upon novel technology by which the visual world, gameplay, and story unfolds in meaningful, dynamic ways. The result is a significant and personal journey adapted to each player’s experience and offers a new approach to the art and storytelling of video games.

Your positive energy as an Operations Coordinator will help keep our studio running smoothly. In this role, you'll provide day-to-day support across various studio functions and collaborate with team members, vendors, and partners. You’ll report to the Executive Director of Studio Affairs and support efforts to ensure the studio is organized, efficient, and well-communicated. We’re a small, hands-on team, and you’ll be expected to pitch in where needed and help support multiple areas of studio operations. 

What You'll Take On: 

  • Support the operations team with daily administrative and operational tasks
  • Maintain project management tools and task trackers to ensure accuracy and up-to-date status 
  • Assist with recruiting and onboarding processes, including drafting and updating job descriptions, creating interview plans, screening candidates, and scheduling interviews
  • Manage vendor contracts, including executing the signatory process and filing legal documents (e.g., NDAs, contracts) 
  • Help draft, prepare, and distribute internal studio communications 
  • Process expense reports and track studio-related purchases 
  • Track ongoing tasks and project milestones using project management tools
  • Respond to general employee inquiries or route them to the appropriate resource
  • Perform additional administrative and operational support tasks as assigned

  • You enjoy helping others, supporting a team, and keeping things on track.
  • You’re a strong communicator and not afraid to ask questions or offer help. 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks 
  • Follow-through and reliability in completing assigned duties 
  • Comfort using tools like Google Workspace, Microsoft Suite, AirTable, Miro, etc. 5+ years of experience in an administrative, operations, or coordinator role Strong written and verbal communication
  • A proactive, helpful attitude and team-first mindset ● Flexibility and willingness to support a variety of studio needs
