Summary/Job Objective:

Brokerage firm seeking Operations Logistic Coordinator for logistics and customer service. The candidate will manage domestic and international shipments between suppliers, customers, carriers, and third-party logistics (3PLs).

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate domestic and international ocean shipments from origin to final destination.

  • Liaise with suppliers, customers, trucking companies, and 3PL providers to schedule and manage shipments.

  • Arrange pickups, deliveries, and transportation services to ensure on-time execution.

  • Monitor shipment status and proactively communicate updates, delays, and issues to all parties involved

  • Prepare and review domestic and/or import/export documentation for accuracy and compliance.

  • Resolve transportation and logistics issues in a timely and professional manner.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Needs to have strong communication skills to work with traders/vendors/customers & freight carriers.

  • Able to work well with pressure/deadlines, highly organized and able to prioritize workload a must. Work within a team and report to Team lead

  • Must be a self-starter and needs to be confident & proactive and self-motivated.

  • Strong verbal and written communication/organizational skills

  • Problem solving skills.

  • Customer-oriented, structured, and responsible

  • Ability to prioritize and work management in pressure situations.

  • Positive attitude, ability to adapt to all situations, and interested in learning new things.

  • The ability to work independently while still functioning as a team.

  • Knowledge of MS Office
