We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Operations Analyst to join our growing team. This role is critical to supporting our operational efficiency and financial strategy, with a strong emphasis on costing management, unit forecasting, and ad hoc business analysis. The ideal candidate is data-driven, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Forecasting
- Ownership & creation of unit forecasting and demand plan in alignment with financial and Merchandising plans.
- Management of forecast communication and management with vendor partners and fulfillment centers to ensure adequate raw material availability.
- Monitor trends, variances, and production efficiency to support accurate planning.
- Support supply chain and procurement teams with forecast insights to optimize inventory levels.
- Costing & Financial Management
- Ownership of costing through Google Docs, Snowflake, and Looker by implementing processes to update costs, audit invoices, identify costing gaps in data, and identify opportunities for savings.
- Point of contact for all margin analysis and costing troubleshooting.
- Stakeholder and partner in new product costing and negotiation with our vendors in tandem with the Strategic Sourcing Manager.
- Operations Analytics & Defect Management
- Conduct ad hoc data analysis to support strategic decision-making across departments.
- Ownership of margin analysis on both product and shipping costs to identify areas of opportunity for improvement in either costing, pricing, or vendor/supplier negotiations.
- Creation and management of dashboards and visualizations in Looker on all Operations and CX OKRs and KPIs to inform areas of improvement.
- Defect/Quality Management & Analytics
- Monitor and analyze product defect data to identify root causes and trends.
- Develop and maintain tracking systems for defect reporting and resolution in partnership with CX.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by delivering actionable insights from defect data.
- Utilize performance data to manage comprehensive vendor scorecards.
Qulaifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a Business Administration, Finance, or commensurate experience
- 2+ years of relevant work experience as an analyst
- Experience with SQL tools (Tableau, Looker, etc.)
- Desire to keep learning and developing within a high-growth environment
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and flexibility
- Ability to present data clearly and concisely and ultimately the ability to make quick and informed decisions based on that data
- Passion for working in a high-growth environment and fostering positive relationships cross-functionally in a small organization
- Desire to grow along with the Artifact Uprising team in a management capacity
- Proficient in MS Excel and Google sheets
