About the role: The Operations Analyst role will support our analytics, reporting, data warehousing and organization-wide projects for our data center portfolio. Initially reporting to the Director of Portfolio Operations, this role will be responsible for recurring and ad hoc analysis of the key performance metrics of our operations across a global portfolio and will work across groups within Data Center Operations. 

  • Provide analysis of electrical usage, electrical rates, power usage efficiencies and maintain data points in internal and external repositories for use by the wider organization
  • Manage external providers that service our reporting and forecasting efforts
  • Modeling exercises on current and future costs across the portfolio that support forecasting and budgeting
  • Prepare and manage presentation materials for weekly and monthly meetings across the organization
  • Assist with reporting and tracking of data center metrics including incidents, tickets, headcount requirements and other operating metrics

Requirements:(This section has to be the technical and measurable requirement of the role, soft skills cannot be measured) 

  • 5+ years of experience in data centers 
  • 3+ years of experience in operations 
  • 1+ Years of experience with a high-growth startup or consulting 
  • Experience in energy management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing energy usage and reporting and knowledge of electric usage metrics

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $115,000 - $ 135,000. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
