Team/Role Overview

Operational Risk Management (ORM) Chief Administrative Office (CAO) - Data & Infrastructure team provides data quality operations support for the Operational Risk Management (ORM) organization for Citi.  The data quality operations includes targeted data tracing for critical BCBS239 Reports such as the Citi Operational Risk Report and ORM Concentration Report where manually calculated metrics are captured, assessing data concerns after intake for root cause analysis and remediation for successful closure, metrics application and data quality management tools enhancements and support, special metrics automation projects, monthly review of the Critical Data Elements (CDEs) captured in the ORM application Scorecards for rules breakages clearance and ensuring ORM data quality internal audits and Regulatory Commitments are executed timely.  In addition, the ORM Data Operations and governance group supports continuous monitoring of Management Controls Assessment (MCA) testing and alignment to changes to policy and standards. 

What you’ll do

  • Support critical ORM Transformation Initiatives and provides program management support.
  • Provide risk strategic analytics and information management across Citibank products while facilitating data-quality and controls for other ORM teams and managers.   
  • Centrally acquire all data related to ORM Transformation initiatives while ensuring data quality, completeness, consistency and timeliness of the end results.   
  • Perform business analysis to respond to regulatory and business questions and provides end-to-end governance of delivery.
  • Participate in the application of operational risk policies, technology, tools and governance processes to create lasting solutions for minimizing losses from failed internal processes, inadequate controls and emerging risks.
  • Contribute to risk assessments and drives actions to address root causes that persistently lead to operational risk losses by challenging both historical and proposed practices.

What we’ll need from you

  • Relevant banking/financial industry experience in Internal Audit or Financial Control preferred and in product program governance and risk management framework.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer focused with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment collaborating across diverse groups.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously and to present a compelling case to influence others where appropriate
  • Intermediate to Advanced experience with Microsoft applications:  PowerPoint, Excel, Word
