Position Summary

The Distribution Center Operations Supervisor supports the Customer Service Manager in overseeing daily operations within the distribution center. This role is responsible for supervising shipping and receiving functions, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining high standards of customer service. The supervisor will lead a team of clerks and associates, drive operational efficiency, and ensure the secure handling and shipment of pharmaceutical products, including controlled substances.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily distribution center operations, including order fulfillment, shipping, and receiving.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of medication orders to meet customer expectations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to support operational needs.
  • Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
  • Prepare and maintain documentation for audits, inspections, and internal reporting.
  • Lead, coach, and develop team members to ensure adherence to SOPs and performance standards.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance safety, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Regulatory, and Transportation to resolve issues and support business goals.
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in a distribution, logistics, or warehouse environment.
  • 1+ year of supervisory or team lead experience.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and material handling equipment.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Must be able to pass all background checks and drug screenings required for handling pharmaceuticals and controlled substances.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$63,800 - $106,400
