Resend is growing fast and we're looking for an Open Source Engineer to help build and maintain our developer tools ecosystem. This role will be crucial in creating high-quality, open source packages that enhance our platform's developer experience and community engagement.

In this role you will...
  • Build and maintain react.email for developers to integrate with/without Resend

  • Design and implement developer tools that simplify building emails

  • Contribute to open standards and collaborate with the developer community

  • Document and showcase integration patterns and best practices

  • Triage and resolve issues in our public repositories and engage with contributors

You will be a perfect fit if you...
  • Have 5 years of software engineering experience

  • Are fluent in writing and speaking English

  • Can consistently work in Americas timezone

  • You love helping other developers

  • Have experience maintaining open source projects and managing community contributions

  • Have deep experience with TypeScript and multiple programming languages

  • Are skilled at writing clear technical documentation
