As a NOC & SOC Analyst, you will respond to incidents, gather information, and ensure resolutions in a 24/7 operations environment.
As a NOC & SOC Analyst within our Managed Services team, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining the health and security of customer environments. You will act as the first line of defense, responding swiftly to issues and incidents, gathering key context, and ensuring resolutions through defined processes and escalations. This is a 24/7 operations role requiring a proactive mindset and strong technical foundations.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first responder on relevant communication channels, adhering to defined SLA timelines.
- Gather key information for efficient incident resolution (Account ID, priority expectations, ETA, etc.).
- Execute playbook-based incident handling and response for operational and security events.
- Proactively identify incidents through monitoring tools and logs, minimizing impact through early action.
- Escalate incidents to technical experts across cloud, cybersecurity, monitoring, or other relevant domains.
Take full ownership of the incident lifecycle, ensuring timely updates, resolution, and closure
Requirements
- Availability for 24/7 shift work (including nights, weekends, and holidays) – Must
- Proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems – Must
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken – Must
- Scripting knowledge (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python) – Advantage
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) – Advantage
- Understanding of networking concepts (IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN) – Advantage
