Department Intro
Micron's Design Engineering team develops innovative silicon-to-systems solutions, delivering world-class memory products through sophisticated circuit design and optimization. We collaborate globally to ensure manufacturability, quality, and performance for next-generation technologies.
Position Overview
As a Design Engineer, you will design and analyze digital, analog, and mixed-signal circuits for memory products. This role involves running layout processes, performing verification, and driving innovation for future memory generations while working closely with multi-functional teams to optimize cost, quality, and reliability.
Responsibilities
  • Give to new product development through design, layout, and optimization of Memory/Logic/Analog circuits.
  • Perform parasitic modeling, design validation, reticle experiments, and tape-out revisions.
  • Oversee layout processes including floor-planning, placement, and routing.
  • Complete verification processes using modeling and simulation tools.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Probe, Assembly, Test, Process Integration, and Product Engineering teams to guarantee manufacturability.
  • Engage with Standards, CAD, modeling, and verification groups to improve design quality.
  • Lead progress in emerging memory technologies for the future in a dynamic environment.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Proficiency in circuit design, layout, and verification using industry-standard simulators.
  • Strong understanding of parasitic modeling and tape-out processes.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
  • Experience with CAD tools and sophisticated design methodologies.
  • Familiarity with mixed-signal circuit design and optimization.
  • Proven track record to innovate and contribute to next-generation memory technologies.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
