Lytx is seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to lead a team of Acquisition Account Executives focused on expanding our customer base and driving new business revenue. This frontline leader will play a critical role in executing our go-to-market strategy within the transportation and commercial fleet industries. Ideal candidates have a background in SaaS sales and a passion for coaching teams to exceed quota in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. 

What You’ll Do:

Sales Leadership & Execution 

  • Lead and inspire a team of Account Executives focused on new customer acquisition in the Mid-Market space. 

  • Drive pipeline generation and ensure consistent, disciplined execution throughout the sales cycle. 

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing and Customer Success to support regional growth initiatives. 

  • Forecast team performance, track key KPIs, and ensure achievement of sales targets. 

  • Contribute to strategic initiatives that align with team and company-wide goals. 

  • Partner with senior leadership to shape and execute go-to-market strategies for the Mid-Market Team. 

Team Development & Coaching 

  • Conduct regular 1:1s and deal reviews to coach for excellence in sales execution and strategic thinking. 

  • Foster a culture of accountability, client-centricity, and continuous improvement. 

  • Recruit, onboard, and mentor top-tier sales talent. 

  • Recognize and reward high performance and behaviors aligned with our Lytx DNA. 

  • Empower your team through mentorship, identifying growth opportunities and addressing talent needs. 

Customer Focus & Deal Strategy 

  • Guide your team through complex sales cycles, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business outcomes. 

  • Engage with executives and stakeholders on high-impact opportunities. 

  • Ensure our sales messaging clearly communicates the unique value of Lytx solutions. 

Market Insights & Feedback Loop 

  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive dynamics, and evolving customer requirements. 

  • Provide actionable feedback to Product and Marketing teams to influence roadmap and positioning. 

 

Requirements:

  • 7-10 years of B2B software sales experience, including 2+ year in a leadership or team lead role. 

  • Proven success in meeting or exceeding team and individual quotas in a SaaS environment. 

  • Experience in fleet management, logistics, telematics, or transportation technology is a plus. 

  • Strong coaching, communication, and motivational skills.

  • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), forecasting, and pipeline management. 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience. 

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% nationally.

Salary is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.  This position is also eligible for an incentive compensation plan.  The expected hiring salary for this position is:

$122,000.00 - $154,000.00
