About the OpportunitySalsify’s Network team is on a mission to grow and scale the world’s most trusted, open, and complete product data network. In Network Strategy and Operations, you’ll make significant contributions to Salsify’s long-term objectives by launching strategic programs end-to-end that grow our network in new and existing market segments and drive operational excellence across our team and cross-functionally.
How you’ll make an impactWe are looking for an ambitious, self-motivated individual who will:
- Quantify, define, and plan critical go-to-market strategic initiatives, by leveraging in-depth market analysis and data-driven insights
- Deliver and execute strategic or operational initiatives, by working collaboratively cross-functionally within and outside the Network team and effectively communicating across stakeholders
- An ability to understand the big picture and find innovative ways to solve challenges and grow the network
- A willingness to go to the lowest level of detail to ensure the business is set up for success and simplify ways of working
- A craving to use and analyze data to help inform decision making
- Curiosity about our customers’ and prospects’ needs and challenges as well as our internal teams’ ways of working, striving to deliver improvements all around
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and balancing the short-term “just get things done” with the long-term “ideal state”
- Excellent organization skills to keep programs on track and identify risk
- Strong communication and presentation skills to help you influence change in the organization and build trust with cross-functional teams and external customers/prospects
What we’re looking for in you
- 5+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, operations, product, technology, banking, analytics, or related experience
- You are a problem solver and are willing to do dive into the details to get things done
- You can translate data, ideas, systems, and cross-functional and external input into an operational strategy
- You have proven analytical skills and a track record of making data-driven decisions
- Excel or Google Sheets skills are a must
- You are comfortable in a highly-visible role and are an exceptional cross-functional collaborator with strong communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
- You have strong organizational skills and/or project management experience (ability to manage multiple projects at the same time)
- You have demonstrated a track record of looking for ways to drive operational efficiency and process improvement
- The following are not required but are a bonus:
- Experience working in Retail and/or SaaS
- Competence in SQL and/or scripting
- Agile methodology understanding, Sprint planning, Jira experience
- Experience working in a global environment and across different cultures
