What We Need: 

The Network Manager will report directly to the Director, Network & Pricing Services. This role is critical for managing and optimizing our network infrastructure, ensuring reliable connectivity, and supporting the operational needs of the organization. You will oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of network systems to enhance overall performance. 

What You Will Do: 

  • Establish and maintain a network of providers in specialty areas across the nation. 
  • Guide development of geographically competitive, broad access, stable networks that achieve objectives for unit cost performance, trend management and appropriate distribution of provider specialties. 
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms with suppliers to optimize value and support strategic goals. 
  • Develop and maintain reports and required analytics of local and national market trends and equipment utilization changes, with the goal of improving margins and value add to clients.
  • Process and maintain network contracts and ensure Synapse Health systems are updated accordingly to reflect the most recent contract version.
  • Develop a vendor credentialing and compliance tracking mechanism to track and maintain all documentation for network to promote quality and compliance.  
  • Partner with the billing department to configure the billing system based on contract pricing and terms negotiated.
  • Provide support cross-functionally by negotiating and implementing contract changes for existing customers related to pricing adjustments and additional products being added.
  • Support sales and implementation team by assisting with the RFP process and any onboarding efforts needed with providers to ensure success.
  • Partner with the Synapse Health operations team for critical projects or financial reviews (QBRs), and provides support related to QA issues or service support.
  • Perform other job duties as requested

What You Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, or related field required. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree, particularly in healthcare network management, DME, or provider relations.  
  • 5-7 years of provider networking experience in hospice and DME. 
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and ability to learn department and job-specific software systems.
  • Demonstrate organizational skills.
  • Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate analytical skills when problem-solving.
  • Demonstrate high attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
