We are looking for a motivated Network Engineer to join Dropbox’s Corporate IT team. In this role, you’ll collaborate with senior and mid-level engineers to design, implement, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure across data centers, office environments, wireless networks, and cloud platforms. This position offers hands-on experience with network automation, performance tuning, cloud networking, and security. You’ll contribute to key initiatives while helping to advance the team’s capabilities in automation, observability, and cloud infrastructure consolidation.

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize networks using tools like Datadog, Kentik, and synthetic testing
- Support network deployments, upgrades, and retrofits across data centers and offices
- Assist with daily network operations, stand-ups, and vendor coordination
- Contribute to Aruba Cloud wireless migrations and ongoing wireless infrastructure management
- Support networking efforts across AWS, GCP, Azure, and OCI, including VPC design and routing/security optimization
- Assist with Zscaler implementations, including disaster recovery and business continuity projects
- Develop and maintain network automation scripts using Ansible and Python
- Automate network provisioning with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and ArgoCD
- Maintain and improve tooling like NetBox, Oxidized, ACL management, and IPAM systems
- Document network architecture, procedures, and runbooks
- Support network segmentation, traffic inspection, and secrets management
- Contribute to performance tuning to improve network reliability and end-user experience
On-call work may be necessary occasionally to help address bugs, outages, or other operational issues, with the goal of maintaining a stable and high-quality experience for our customers.
Requirements- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco and Juniper platforms
- Familiarity with network automation using Ansible, Python, and Terraform
- Understanding of cloud networking in AWS, GCP, Azure, or OCI
- Experience with DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and enterprise Wi-Fi
- Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Datadog, Kentik, NetBox, and IPAM
- Basic understanding of CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or ArgoCD
- Interest in zero trust security (Zscaler) and network performance optimization
- Experience with Aruba wireless (on-prem and cloud)
- Familiarity with Zscaler tools (ZIA, ZPA, ZDX, ZCC)
- Knowledge of Vault or similar secrets management platforms
- Understanding of container and Kubernetes networking
- Strong written communication skills for technical documentation and runbooks
