Iron Mountain is seeking a dynamic Network Engineer (M&A Focus) to join our IT Infrastructure team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of network integration for acquired companies, ensuring seamless, secure, and rapid merging of network infrastructures to avoid business disruption.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

In this role, you will:

  • Lead network integration and migration projects for mergers and acquisitions (M&A), developing scalable and fault-tolerant network architectures and integration blueprints.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT security, application teams, and external vendors, to execute network deployments, manage hardware procurement, and ensure minimal downtime during integration.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and best practices by implementing and integrating security measures like firewalls, VPNs, and Network Access Control (NAC) during all M&A activities.
  • Design and deploy core network components, including routing and switching (OSPF, BGP), SD-WAN (e.g., Cisco Meraki, Aruba, Silverpeak), and wireless solutions across newly acquired sites and data centers.
  • Develop and maintain detailed network documentation, including configurations, integration timelines, and disaster recovery plans for the merged infrastructure.

What You'll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering, with a strong focus on Mergers & Acquisitions network integration projects.
  • Strong knowledge of network design principles, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and practical experience with firewall administration (e.g., Palo Alto, Cisco ASA) and SD-WAN technologies.
  • Proven ability in complex troubleshooting, project management, and communicating technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Professional certification such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent industry certification is required.
  • Experience with network automation/scripting (e.g., Python, Ansible) is a plus.

Reasonably expected salary range: $91,100.00 - $121,400.00
