You identify and verify Spectrum Business Solutions to ensure our customers are receiving the services that are ordered. You will collaborate with teams within an office environment and ensure that all the teams within Spectrum Enterprise are following the standards for services rendered.
How you can make a difference:
  • Support engineering projects by participating in architecture design planning.
  • Complete network configuration projects by integrating communication architecture, topologies, hardware, software, transmission and signaling links.
  • Enhance the product base through product evaluations and network issue resolution.
  • Maintain product and service quality by developing and documenting technical standards.
  • Optimize existing networks by completing medium- to highly-complex projects and systems.
  • Mitigate risks by complying with all industry-specific local, state and federal regulations.

What you bring to Spectrum Business
Required qualifications:
  • Experience: Experience working with a data network.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Technical skills: Intermediate data network knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model and optical networking; Understanding of IEEE and ANSI standards; Familiar with fiber, multi-mode, single-mode, UTP, bridging, switching, routing, Ethernet and transport technologies and protocols; Knowledge of network design, devices, network appliances, network architecture, protocols and network topology; History of using Visio; Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Skills: English communication skills.
  • Abilities: Deadline-driven with the ability to learn new technologies and work in a fast-paced team environment.

Preferred qualifications:
  • CCNA or other industry-specific certifications.
  • Knowledge of Spectrum Business products and services.
