THE OPPORTUNITY

Join a team that’s changing financial services

Zocks is the #1 AI assistant for financial advisors. We help advisors automate their operational work and grow their business. 5,000+ firms use Zocks to turn client conversations into completed work.

We're a venture-backed team, building something that changes how financial advisors serve their clients every day. Every role here is an opportunity to shape the product, the company, and the way an entire industry works. We hire sharp, curious, and kind people who want to do meaningful work and build something from the ground up, together.

WHO YOU ARE

The SHARC in the room

At Zocks, we hire for SHARC - five qualities that define how our best people work and win together.

S - Sharp

You move fast without cutting corners. Quick decisions, thoughtful execution - you know when to act independently and when to loop in leadership.

H - Hungry

You're a self-starter who celebrates teammates as loudly as your own wins. Humble hustle is your default mode.

A - Adaptable

Startup life means things shift fast. You lean into change, pivot gracefully, and genuinely enjoy figuring out what's next.

R - Resilient

Building something new isn't always smooth. You bounce back stronger, see obstacles as puzzles, and never lose sight of the bigger picture.

C - Curious

You ask the questions others miss. You explore for fun, not just for work - and it shows in the quality of your thinking.

The Network Account Manager owns the execution and growth of Zocks’ Partner networks. Where the Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships sources new Partnership Agreements and builds executive champions, the Network Account Manager owns the realization of the partnership into adoption and execution within the network. You are the operator who executes on every commitment in the Partnership Agreement and drives bottom-up user growth across the partner’s advisor network.

This role is a hybrid of an Account Manager and an Account Executive. Like an Account Manager, you are responsible for maintaining the relationship with an existing partner, while you must also exercise your sales skills to ensure that the network continues to grow. Your mandate is to maximize net-new advisor bookings and overall network penetration inside each network account.

Key Responsibilities

Partnership Onboarding & Handoff Ownership

  • Serve as the single-threaded owner of each assigned network partnership the moment the Partnership Agreement is signed and the Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships hands off the relationship.
  • Run a structured handoff to inherit context on Home Office champions, early adopters, committed marketing activities, key contacts, and partnership goals.
  • Build a partnership launch plan for each network with defined milestones, activation targets, and timelines for the first 90 days.
  • Establish and maintain working relationships with the partner’s internal champions, practice management, marketing, and field-facing teams.

Partnership Agreement Execution

  • Own delivery of every Zocks obligation in the MPA, including discounted-rate coupon codes, partner-specific demo and onboarding scheduling, free-trial setup, and co-marketing deliverables.
  • Coordinate and execute committed co-marketing activities such as joint webinars, newsletter placements, partner-website listings, and conference participation, partnering with the ABM and Marketing teams.
  • Track commitment fulfillment against each agreement’s timeline (e.g., webinars within the first 60 and 180 days) and ensure Zocks meets every obligation on schedule.
  • Act as the operational liaison ensuring the partner upholds their commitments, escalating to the Director of Strategic Partnerships when senior-level intervention is needed.
Bottoms-Up Adoption & Network Penetration
  • Drive advisor-level awareness and adoption across each network through field engagement, targeted outreach, group demos, and enablement sessions.
  • Map the addressable advisor base within each network and build a penetration plan to systematically convert advisors into Subscribers.
  • Equip internal champions with the messaging, assets, and momentum they need to advocate for Zocks across their advisor community.
  • Run recurring webinars, office hours, and onboarding clinics that lower the barrier for advisors to start free trials and activate paid subscriptions.
  • Monitor activation funnel metrics by network — coupon redemptions, trial starts, conversions — and intervene where adoption stalls.

Bookings & Expansion

  • Own net-new advisor bookings (Professional and Ultimate subscriptions) sourced within your assigned networks as your primary performance metric.
  • Grow network penetration — the share of each network’s addressable advisors who have adopted Zocks — quarter over quarter.
  • Identify and execute expansion within the network, including tier upgrades (Professional to Ultimate) and added seats across advisor practices.
  • Generate and manage a pipeline of advisor opportunities within each network, forecasting expected bookings with accuracy.
  • Partner with the SMB sales team to convert larger advisor practices and multi-advisor opportunities surfaced within the network.
Cross-Functional Alignment
  • Partner with the Director of Strategic Partnerships for clean handoffs, escalations, and renewal or expansion of the MPA itself at the Home Office level.
  • Work with ABM and Marketing to design and execute co-branded campaigns, advisor outreach sequences, and field activation tailored to each network.
  • Collaborate with the Account Management team to ensure advisors who subscribe receive high-quality onboarding and ongoing service.
  • Partner with RevOps to track partner-sourced bookings, network penetration, and activation metrics in Salesforce.
  • Share advisor and partner feedback with Product and Product Marketing to sharpen messaging and inform the roadmap.

Qualifications
  • 3-5+ years of experience within an RIA, Broker-Dealer, Bank, or Insurance environment, with a proven track record of managing complex industry workflows and the end-to-end client lifecycle
  • Background in wealth-tech, fintech, or regulated SaaS serving financial advisors
  • Proven track record of generating net-new bookings and driving adoption within a defined book of accounts or partner networks
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to manage both executive-level champions and individual end users
  • Comfortable owning execution of contractual commitments and coordinating cross-functional marketing and onboarding activities
  • Confident running customer-facing webinars, demos, and group enablement sessions.
  • Highly organized with strong operational discipline and the ability to manage multiple partnerships simultaneously
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and partnership or pipeline tracking workflows

Preferred Experience
  • Experience executing channel or partner-marketing programs, including co-marketing, webinars, and field activation.
  • Familiarity with advisor distribution ecosystems including broker-dealers, RIA networks, and enterprise platforms.
  • Experience driving bottoms-up, product-led adoption within large or networked customer bases.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and SalesLoft.

Logistics
  • Preference for Denver area but remote is also okay
    • We are currently only able to hire candidates who reside in the following states: AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, ID, IL, IA, KS, MA, MI, NE, NJ, NV, NY, NC, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, WA, WI
  • Travel periodically to meet with clients and attend industry conferences (approximately 2x/month, with heavier travel during spring and fall conference seasons)
  • Background and reference checks required as part of onboarding

Interview process:
  • 30-min recruiter screen
  • Up to three 30-45-min video or onsite interviews
  • Offer pending references.
Total estimated time: ~3 hours

Compensation
  • Base:  $110,000 + Variable:  $60,000 = On Target Earnings:  $170,000
  • Equity - we're all building this together

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
