You will bring your first-hand experience, unique perspectives, and functional knowledge to deliver tailored integrated solutions that help our clients solve today's challenges and drive value creation. As an Associate Director, you will be responsible for a mix of client delivery, team leadership, junior team member development, and participating in business development activities. If you enjoy NetSuite and driving value creation in the fast-paced world of Private Equity, this is a unique opportunity to become part of our growing and collaborative team.

What You'll Do:

  • Contribute to complex PE‑backed technology transformations, including carveouts, rollups, acquisitions, and rapid scaling, by designing holistic, ecosystem‑wide solutions that balance speed of execution with long‑term architectural integrity, adapt to evolving and non‑standard processes, and enable real‑world operations while paving a path toward future standardization.
  • Design and govern future‑state technical architectures integrating NetSuite, Salesforce, and adjacent enterprise platforms, defining scalable and secure integration patterns while accounting for differing process complexity, systems maturity, and operating models across PE portfolio companies.
  • Lead and oversee integration design and delivery across APIs, middleware, and event‑driven architectures, partnering with development teams to ensure secure, performant solutions and well‑designed data flows that enable enterprise reporting, analytics, and operational visibility.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor in client‑facing forums, collaborating with business and functional consultants to align technical designs with business outcomes and clearly communicate technical trade-offs to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Contribute to developing and implementing firm-approved, AI-enabled solutions for clients, in accordance with company policies on data protection, intellectual property, and professional standards.
  • Stay informed about emerging AI tools and techniques and collaborate with firm leadership to identify compliant opportunities to enhance client solutions and internal processes.
  • Foster business development opportunities by networking with existing clients, participating on proposal teams to secure new client work, and generating leads from a network outside of existing client relationships.
  • Mentor team members by coaching colleagues, providing regular ongoing feedback and annual performance reviews, and helping project teams resolve multifaceted issues.
  • Play an active role in attracting, interviewing, hiring, and retaining top talent.

What You'll Bring:

  • 7+ years of prior NetSuite experience in a professional services environment, with 2+ years of recent experience advising Private Equity and/or PE-backed clients.
  • Demonstrated experience working with clients to architect multi-system environments with complex integration, best-in-breed partner solutions and layering in end-to-end solution architecture.
  • Prior experience with one or more of the following tools: NetSuite, Zoho, HubSpot, Salesforce, ServiceTitan, Celigo, MuleSoft, Boomi.
  • Comfort with AI: Demonstrated ability to responsibly explore and adopt firm-approved AI tools to enhance productivity and innovation.
  • Continuous Learning Mindset: Openness to learning and applying emerging technologies including AI and automation in alignment with firm policies and client standards.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% as needed; travel varies based on client preferences.
  • Experience mentoring and developing junior team members and helping project teams resolve multifaceted issues.
  • Consistent success in building and developing strong client relationships.

Qualifications:

  • CPA or CA certification preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
