Company Overview
ACS (Allen Control Systems) is a defense technology company building precision robotic systems for the United States and its allies. Founded by two former U.S. Navy electrical engineers with deep experience in robotics and software, ACS brings together AI, computer vision, precision motion, and advanced hardware to solve complex defense challenges across land, air, and maritime environments.

Our flagship product, Bullfrog, is an autonomous precision weapon system that transforms existing weapons into highly accurate counter-drone systems — giving warfighters a scalable, cost-effective response to one of the fastest-growing threats on the modern battlefield. Bullfrog is deployed with U.S. forces, and ACS works with organizations throughout the U.S. military and national security community.

Following a $200 million Series B at a $2.2 billion valuation, ACS is rapidly expanding manufacturing, accelerating Bullfrog deployments, and developing the next generation of autonomous battlefield systems. This is an opportunity to join a proven, fast-moving team and help scale technology with direct, real-world impact on national security.

ACS is headquartered in Austin, Texas, with additional operations in Alexandria, Virginia; Mountain View, California; and Huntsville, Alabama. For more information, visit allencontrolsystems.com.

About The Role

We are looking for a NetSuite Administrator to own the configuration, optimization, and day-to-day administration of NetSuite at ACS. ACS runs a dual-ERP environment with NetSuite as the financial system of record and Odoo for manufacturing and operations. This is a hands-on individual contributor role reporting to the ERP Systems Manager, with close partnership with the Finance and Accounting teams, for someone equally comfortable translating business requirements into system configurations and supporting end users through a fast-moving implementation.

What You’ll Do

  • Own day-to-day NetSuite administration including configuration, customization, and system access management; plan, review, and revise configurations as business needs evolve; maintain data integrity through regular audits and policy enforcement.

  • Develop, test, and deploy customizations, custom objects, SuiteApps, and API-based application extensions; build and maintain saved searches, reports, KPIs, and dashboards for internal stakeholders.

  • Provide front-line technical support and training to end users; monitor system usage and performance; coordinate with NetSuite or external professional services on larger, more complex implementation projects.

  • Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure data integrity and system governance; stay current on NetSuite functionality, updates, and integration capabilities.

What You’ll Need

  • 3 to 5 years of hands-on NetSuite administration and implementation experience; Bachelor’s degree in MIS, IT, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field.

  • Technical proficiency with HTML, XML, JavaScript, and NetSuite SuiteCloud developer tools; 2+ years of SQL and relational database experience including data integration and analysis.

  • Strong understanding of standard business processes across AR, AP, GL, invoicing, inventory management, and project accounting; project management and system integration experience.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently and collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Accounting, and Operations teams.

You’ll Stand Out

  • Experience supporting government contractors with DCAA-compliant cost accounting or project-based accounting in a defense environment; familiarity with FAR/DFARS, CMMC, or NIST SP 800-171 as they relate to system access controls and audit logging.

  • NetSuite ERP Consultant or Administrator certification; experience in a dual-ERP or hybrid ERP environment.

  • Exposure to manufacturing operations, inventory management, or BoM/work order workflows; general ITAR/EAR awareness and understanding of data handling controls in a defense context.

  • Experience at a startup or high-growth company where systems and processes were being built rather than inherited.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary

  • ACS Equity Package

  • Health, Dental, Vision Insurance

  • Paid Time Off

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
