12 – 15 months contract
QUESTIONS THAT NEED TO BE ANSWERED BY CANDIDATE:
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Seeking qualified candidates with expertise in as many of the following technologies as possible:
o VB.NET, HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, JQuery, JSON, RequireJS, Knockout and/or AngularJS, AJAX
The position is to convert an existing Silverlight implementation into a single page application (SPA) using a combination of the above mentioned technologies. Therefore candidates should have a strong background in Silverlight and/or WPF and be familiar with XAML, data bindings, SOAP web services, and other related technologies.
It is expected that the candidate is comfortable using Visual Studio (any version) and Team Foundation Server for source control.
Prior experience with Oracle database + PL/SQL would be ideal but is not required.
Candidate must be able to work independently and think creatively when developing solutions. We will not be able to provide a lot of “hand-holding” for the project as our resources are already managing a heavy work load.
