Position Summary:

In the National Account Manager - Core Accounts position, you’ll proactively drive strategic growth across a portfolio of high-value national accounts by identifying whitespace opportunities, influencing executive stakeholders, and delivering consultative solutions that create measurable customer value. You’ll leverage AI-enabled insights, data, and the broader Direct Supply ecosystem to shape customer strategies, accelerate supply and capital growth, and strengthen long-term partnerships. This role requires a highly strategic, proactive seller who thrives in complex environments, collaborates cross-functionally, and consistently delivers impactful business results.

  • Ability to leverage CRM tools, customer analytics, market insights, and AI-enabled technologies to drive pipeline growth

What You’ll Do and Impact:

  • Develop and execute strategic account growth plans to win, grow, and retain national account partnerships by aligning Direct Supply solutions to customer business priorities.

  • Proactively identify new opportunities, including equipment contracts, and drive sales strategies focused on supply, capital, and technology solutions (smart products) to accelerate customer growth and deepen account penetration.

  • Build and manage executive-level customer relationships, serving as a trusted advisor by understanding customer goals, operational challenges, and long-term business strategies.

  • Lead value-based sales conversations that position Direct Supply as a strategic partner and drive measurable customer outcomes.

  • Support Capital and Aptura sales initiatives by uncovering opportunities, securing capital project visibility, and partnering with internal teams to advance and close strategic opportunities.

  • Leverage AI-enabled insights, customer analytics, dashboards, and market intelligence to identify trends, prioritize opportunities, and influence account strategy.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, operations, product, analytics, and leadership teams to deliver integrated customer solutions and maximize customer value.

  • Anticipate customer challenges and proactively recommend innovative solutions that improve operational, clinical, and financial outcomes.

  • Resolve escalated customer issues and lead high-stakes negotiations to strengthen customer trust, satisfaction, and long-term partnership success.

  • Influence internal business strategy by sharing customer insights, competitive intelligence, and market trends that shape future growth opportunities.

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field required; MBA preferred.

  • 8-10 years of sales experience with a proven track record of driving growth in complex, high-growth sales environments.

  • Demonstrated success managing and growing enterprise or national accounts through proactive, consultative, and strategic selling approaches.

  • Experience influencing executive-level stakeholders and navigating complex sales cycles with multiple decision-makers.

  • Proven ability to develop and execute long-term account growth strategies that deliver measurable business outcomes.

  • Experience leveraging CRM platforms, customer analytics, and data-driven insights to identify opportunities and optimize sales strategy.

  • Strong collaboration, leadership, and cross-functional partnership skills with the ability to align teams around customer growth initiatives.

  • Ability to travel by car and/or plane up to 50%.

  • Valid, unexpired driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.

Additional Items of Interest:

  • MBA preferred.

  • Experience within healthcare, senior living, supply chain, capital equipment, or technology-enabled solution sales preferred.
