Position Overview

As a National Account Manager, your role is to set and lead the account strategy for major national customers. You own the relationship at senior level and are accountable for performance, profitability, and partnership quality. You operate as a strategic commercial leader, not just an executor.

 
Roles & Responsibilities

Strategic Account Leadership

  • Own top-tier national and platform accounts end-to-end

  • Lead top-to-top meetings and long-term joint business planning

  • Set clear customer strategies aligned to NA and global priorities

 

Commercial Ownership

  • Full accountability for revenue, margin, and profitability

  • Lead pricing strategy, promotional architecture, and investment decisions

  • Drive disciplined forecasting and demand planning

 

Leadership & Influence

  • Lead and develop KAMs and JKAMs where applicable

  • Act as a senior commercial voice within the local business

 

Execution at Scale

  • Ensure flawless execution across large, complex retail organizations

  • Translate strategy into execution with pace and clarity

  • Drive accountability across cross-functional teams

 

Skills & Experience

  • 7–10+ years’ experience in national or strategic account management

  • Proven delivery of large-scale retail growth

  • Strong commercial judgement and P&L understanding

  • Demonstrated people leadership and influence
