Compensation

As Yepoda prepares to launch with Sephora in the United States, we are looking for a National Account Manager, Sephora US to lead our strategic partnership with Sephora US and help drive our retail growth in this exciting new market.

Your Tasks
  • Build and own the day to day relationship with Sephora US, serving as the main point of contact across commercial, category, marketing, and operational discussions

  • Lead the Sephora US launch execution end to end, including assortment planning, launch calendars, promotional plans, and in store activation

  • Drive strong sell out performance by living in the data, diagnosing at door level, and building fast action plans with Sephora

  • Own the operational rhythm of the account: sell in and sell through analysis, forecasting, inventory planning, and business reviews

  • Build the playbook. Yepoda does not yet have a US retail operating model and you will define how we plan, execute, and report on this account

  • Partner closely with our Berlin based teams across marketing, supply chain, finance, and product to ensure smooth launches and campaigns

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and category developments to identify growth opportunities in the US market

  • Represent Yepoda as our first commercial presence on the ground in the US

Your Profile
  • 5 to 7 years experience in national account management, key account management, trade marketing, or retail partnerships within beauty, skincare, or consumer brands

  • Direct experience working with Sephora US, ideally including a brand launch or new brand entry within the last 3 years

  • Experience from a scaling, challenger, or emerging brand where you have built processes, playbooks, or ways of working from scratch rather than inherited them

  • Genuinely hands on. Comfortable being deep in the detail across sell out data, door level execution, promotional planning, and forecasting, not sitting above it

  • Strong commercial and analytical mindset with a clear point of view on how to grow a Sephora account through both sell in and sell out levers

  • Experience working cross functionally with marketing, category, supply chain, and finance teams

  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills, with the confidence to challenge Sephora stakeholders and push initiatives forward

  • Comfortable operating solo on the ground and building trust remotely with a HQ team across time zones

  • Must be based in the United States and authorised to work in the country without current or future visa sponsorship

What We Offer
  • The opportunity to play a key role in building Yepoda’s partnership with Sephora US from the ground up

  • A remote role based in the San Francisco Bay Area, with flexibility and autonomy in how you work

  • The chance to collaborate with an international team and travel occasionally to our headquarters in Berlin

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage

  • 401(k)

  • Paid time off, paid holidays, and sick leave

  • Paid parental leave

  • Employee discounts on Yepoda products

  • A collaborative, international work environment with flat hierarchies and trust by default

  • The opportunity to grow with a fast-moving beauty brand at a very exciting stage

Would you like to be part of the team? Then we'd love to hear from you! 🫰✨

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
