The Music Business Strategy team is responsible for developing the strategy and operationalizing critical new initiatives that support artists and amplify Spotify’s presence in Music. We are seeking a talented Manager who drives cross-functional execution, strategic planning support, and performance visibility across high-priority Music initiatives, taking us from vision to launch. 

This role serves as both the execution backbone for high-visibility initiatives and the planning and insights engine across the broader portfolio. Operating in close partnership with Music Partnerships leadership, the role translates strategic priorities into structured roadmaps, measurable KPIs, and executive-ready materials that enable confident decision-making.


What You'll Do

  • Build initiative execution with roadmap, milestones, and launch readiness for cross-functional initiatives.
  • Drive cross-functional coordination across Music, Editorial, Marketing, Markets, Comms, and related stakeholders.
  • Produce executive-ready analyses, summaries, and structured decision materials, translating operational detail into strategic insights and clear narrative.
  • Maintain clarity on how initiatives connect to broader Music and company priorities developing single sources of truth to ensure alignment across teams.
  • Translate strategy into sequenced workstreams and accountable owners, building launch plans and operating models
  • Own the development high-level strategic goals into measurable assumptions and success metrics, building structural analysis and planning frameworks 
  • Maintain tracking covering budget and performance indicators in partnership with Analytics and Finance.

Who You Are

    • 5+ years experience in BizOps, Strategy & Operations, consulting plus operating experience, program leadership, or similar high-complexity roles

    • Demonstrated track record driving cross-functional initiatives from concept to launch with attention to detail

    • Highly structured thinker who can build clarity in ambiguous environments.

    • Proactive, adaptable, and energized by fast-paced, high-visibility initiatives.

    • Clear, concise communicator with strong judgment and storytelling ability.

    • Passionate about music and attuned to the evolving artist and creator landscape

Where You'll Be

  • This role is based in New York or Los Angeles.
  • We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home.
