Job Description
A bit about this role:
Devoted Medical was founded on the belief that if we treat each member like we would our loved ones, we can improve healthcare experiences and outcomes for our patients. The Musculoskeletal (MSK) Program represents a significant part of this commitment to our members. The program seeks to ensure that all members receive the right musculoskeletal care at the right place at the right time. Patients with musculoskeletal issues are often directed to low efficacy, low value care pathways which generate poor outcomes. The goal of the MSK program is to create highly efficacious, high value care pathways for all Devoted members with MSK needs.
The MSK Coordinator plays an integral role in establishing and growing the MSK program within Devoted Medical. The role is a full time, virtual position geared towards a person with the desire and passion to roll up their sleeves and make the healthcare system as it should be. This person should have the vision and flexibility to take broad program goals and translate them into actions and outcomes by whatever means necessary.
Key performance indicators include, but are not limited to: member engagement, program enrollment and graduation, member MSK specialty utilization, member MSK total cost of care and expanding the clinical model to all applicable Devoted members.
Responsibilities will include:
Design a compliant set of MSK interventions that can be layered across digital and virtual interactions
Test and iterate on program design to drive engagement and graduation
Proactively outreach to identified members with eligible MSK conditions
Effectively sell MSK intervention and guides members through clinical funnel
Provide member anticipatory guidance on an initial and ongoing basis
Liaise with providers, both internal and external to Devoted Medical, to sell MSK program and coordinate care
Identify any needs for clinical escalation and liaise with appropriate resources
Monitor program KPIs and drive improvement in areas of underperformance
Execute on identified opportunities for clinical model expansion
Attributes to success:
You have a passion for making healthcare better, solving complex problems and supporting the delivery of healthcare that we would want for our own family members.
You're an entrepreneurial self-starter with a competitive spirit
Agility and collaboration are critical to your success
You learn from every experience and are not afraid to fail - that's how you're wired
You are able to learn new technologies quickly, and use new tools in ways that help make the work more productive
Thinking about the big picture is key for you, but you SWEAT the details
You inspire and galvanize others to continuously improve and achieve
Ambiguity doesn’t scare you, it excites you. Bringing order to chaos sparks joy.
You enjoy a fast-paced, high-energy, growing organization
You care about building a caring, supportive, operationally rigorous environment, and have lots of practical ideas of how to run scalable clinical programs
Desired skills and experience:
