Description

Resource Innovations is seeking a Trade Ally Manager to join our growing team in New Jersey. As a Trade Ally Manager, you will work in a dynamic environment supporting the implementation of residential multifamily energy efficiency programs.  The Trade Ally Manager plays a vital role in building partnerships with key stakeholders to deliver on program goals and provide energy efficiency projects to multifamily program participants.  
The Trade Ally Manager will, in coordination with program subcontractor partners, develop a robust network of contractors to deliver HVAC, lighting, water heating and other energy saving measures to multifamily customers. This position will leverage existing organizational relationships and partnerships while developing new connections with union, diverse, disadvantaged and other contractors to deliver on program goals and achieve energy savings for customers. The Trade Ally Manager must be responsive to contractor needs and be able to effectively communicate program requirements, offering training and support to a variety of different tradespeople.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develops, manages, and fosters relationships with contractors across various trades and with trade organizations and relevant industry groups.  
  • Responsible for contractor recruitment into the multifamily program based on program needs and priorities. 
  • Works with subcontractor partners to effectively execute the program delivery strategy and support the achievement of program goals. 
  • Monitors program participation and adjust contractor recruitment strategy to optimize participation in pursuit of program goals.  
  • Provides ongoing support and training to contractors regarding program updates, submission deadlines, safety and other issues on a scheduled and as-needed basis.  
  • Leads ad hoc meetings/calls with the internal team and partners on subjects relating to contractor recruitment, issue resolution, successes, challenges, and requests for additional support. 
  • Delivers presentations and communicates program offerings while tailoring messaging to a variety of stakeholders.  
  • Other duties as assigned. 
Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 5 years’ experience in contractor or trades management.  
  • Previous management experience in training and recruitment. 
  • Proven success in engaging contractors, unions, subcontractors and trade organizations. 
  • Ability to communicate clearly and establish expectations and guidelines with disparate trades.  
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams under tight deadlines. 
  • Proficient skills with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM tools.  
  • New Jersey residency required

Benefits

Compensation & Benefits

Resource Innovations offers competitive salaries based on a candidate's skills, experience and qualifications for the position.  The compensation range for the base salary for this position is $81,900 - $125,300.  In addition to base pay, employees are eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.  The stated salary represents the expected compensation for this position. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's experience, education and location. 

We also offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes three weeks of paid vacation per year; paid holidays; a 401(k)-retirement plan with employer matching; health, dental and vision insurance; and other supplemental benefits.
