About This Role

As a Monitoring Specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring solar system performance, managing post-install workflows, and supporting activation, funding, and project close-out processes.

This is a detail-oriented operational role that directly impacts customer satisfaction, project timelines, and company revenue. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.



Responsibilities
  • Monitor residential solar system performance using Tesla, Qcells, and Enphase platforms
  • Build and review system arrays as needed
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate system performance or communication issues
  • Manage project close-out processes and ensure documentation accuracy
  • Submit activation milestones through Palmetto / Lightreach
  • Support funding processes by ensuring project milestones are completed accurately and on time
  • Track and assist with utility interconnection processes
  • Maintain organized and accurate project records
  • Collaborate with installation, service, customer experience, finance, and operations teams
  • Provide updates and reporting on system performance and project progress



QualificationsRequired
  • Experience in residential solar operations
  • Experience using Tesla, Qcells, and Enphase monitoring platforms
  • Strong understanding of solar monitoring workflows and system performance
  • Experience managing close-out documentation and project milestones
  • Familiarity with solar funding workflows and requirements
  • Experience with PPAs and Lightreach
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
  • Experience with utility interconnection processes
  • Knowledge of AHJ requirements and PTO (Permission to Operate)
  • Familiarity with CRM or project management software
  • Solar operations or asset management experience
