Responsibilities and tasks
  • Leverage AI-enabled tools and data-driven insights to optimize manufacturing planning, improve operational decision-making, enhance productivity, and drive continuous improvement across module manufacturing operations."
  • Manage and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the department.
  • Ensure accuracy of weekly plans in the 0-13 weeks' horizon to meet demand requirements /Business Plans, in particular, within the BE Pipeline Planning Commit window.
  • Co-ordinate site responses to build plans, changes requests and ad-hoc scenarios in the tactical 0-26 week horizon.
  • Interface with BE Central Planning, External Mfg, FE SIC, Supply Chain and Procurement to ensure optimal tactical response to customer/supply requirements including any pull-ins, support requests as well as cross-site processing.
  • Effectively partner with IE, Site NPI team and PE Planning for required capacity and product mix adjustments, including of support execution of new product introduction and customer samples.
  • Manage inventory daily both at starts and manufacturing line, in accordance to supply chain design and operational goals.
  • Partner with Site operations team and Operations Improvement team to execute production commits and to drive continuous improvement in tool utilization, cost and cycle time.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to build and execute strategies that are aligned to corporate objectives, improvement of the organizational capabilities of the planning community and support initiatives that drive benchmark culture.
  • Building and coaching a team of Product Planners and Planning Assistants, fostering team member's engagement to the fullest of their potential.
