We are seeking a talented and experienced Mobile (React Native) Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in React Native, iOS, Android, and Google Cloud, with a bonus if they have experience in digital health technologies. As a crucial member of our engineering team, you will play a key role in developing and enhancing our apps to deliver exceptional user experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate within cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient software solutions.

  • Lead the development and maintenance of our iOS and Android apps, ensuring high performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest iOS and Android platform and hardware developments, as well as advancements in the health tech space, to continuously innovate and improve our product.

  • Contribute innovative ideas and solutions to improve product functionality, performance, and usability.

  • Implement best practices for coding, testing, and deployment to ensure high-quality deliverables.

  • Work closely with product managers and designers to translate requirements into technical specifications.

  • Manage the mobile roadmap alongside the general product roadmap and drive performance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a startup environment leading mobile teams.

  • 3+ years of experience in developing iOS applications using React Native (bonus: experience with Swift, Objective-C, Xcode, and the iOS SDK).

  • Proven working experience in iOS and Android app development, with a strong portfolio of deployed applications/features in the App Store and Google Play Store.

  • A history of delivery on high impact organizational projects.

  • Experience in digital health technologies is a strong plus.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to overcome technical challenges.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive and positive attitude.

  • Passion for product development and a willingness to take initiative and ownership of projects.

  • Commitment to following best practices and standards for software development.

  • Wants to be part of building an mobile team from the ground up.

  • Participation in on-call rotation for mobile.
