We are looking for dedicated engineers to: - Help us develop our innovative technology platform that is changing the web and mobile applications to be more accessible - Join our team as a technical expert, contributing to the code base, technical builds, and delivery of impactful solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and backend developers, to define, develop, and ship new features.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in mobile development.
  • Help other developers, providing technical mentorship and code reviews within the native mobile domain.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Contribute to the improvement of development processes and workflows.
  • Manage app deployment workflows using TestFlight, Google Play Console, and other distribution tools.
  • Implement and compose a full range of features from mobile apps to their corresponding RESTful APIs, extending to their database queries.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • More than 3 years of expertise in mobile application development on Android (Kotlin/Java) and/or iOS (Swift/Objective-C)
  • 2+ years of professional experience in backend development on Javascript/Typescript
  • Experience setting up automated UI testing using Espresso, XCTest, or Appium
  • Proven experience building and shipping complex, high-quality mobile applications to the App Store and Google Play Store.
  • Solid familiarity with mobile app architecture.
  • Thorough understanding of the Android and/or iOS platforms and their respective design guidelines.
  • Proficient understanding of mobile UI/UX principles, responsive development, and platform-specific guidelines
  • Solid knowledge of beta distribution tools including Firebase App Distribution and App Center
  • Proficiency in RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and integration with backend services
  • Experience with unit and UI testing frameworks
  • Knowledge or willingness to learn our tech-stack: TypeScript, HTML, SASS, Angular, React, NodeJS, Express, MongoDB, Rabbit MQ, Kafka, Redis
  • Ability to write code with accessibility in mind and a dedication to crafting an inclusive user experience.
  • Ability to communicate ideas clearly, and to listen carefully to the contributions of others.
  • Knowledge of Scrum framework
Bonus Point Experiences
  • Experience with cross-platform frameworks like Flutter or React Native
  • Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform or other shared codebase solutions.
  • Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.) and Docker or similar level of expertise.
  • Experience with Web Application Security / OWASP standard methodologies.
  • Experience with accessible web design including Section 508 and WCAG.
  • Prior experience building scalable applications for the cloud.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and design patterns.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on scalability and performance.
  • Experience with real-time systems and event-driven architecture.
