ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for a skilled iOS Software Engineer to join our mobile development team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality iOS applications that deliver exceptional user experiences. You will collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to bring new features to life and ensure the app is stable, performant, and scalable.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and maintain iOS applications that meet high standards of performance and quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and improve existing ones.
  • Optimize app performance, responsiveness, and usability.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues and crashes.
  • Write automated unit and UI tests and participate in code reviews.
  • Stay current with iOS development trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Contribute to mobile architecture improvements and development process enhancements.
ABOUT YOURequired:
  • Minimum 3 years of iOS development experience.
  • Strong skills in Swift  and SwiftUI
  • Experience integrating with RESTful APIs and backend services.
  • Familiarity with iOS frameworks like UIKit, SwiftUI, Core Data, Combine, and Core Animation.
  • Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD for mobile apps.
  • Knowledge of unit testing, UI testing, and automated testing frameworks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication.
  • Experience with cloud services (Firebase, AWS, etc.) is a plus.
Preferred:
  • You have at least 3 years of professional iOS development experience.
  • You are proficient in Swift, SwiftUI and Swift Concurrency
  • You understand modern iOS architecture patterns such as MVVM or MVC
  • You are passionate about building intuitive, high-performance mobile apps.
  • You enjoy collaboration, participating in code reviews, and taking ownership of your work.
 WHAT YOU'LL DOIn your first 30 days, you will:
  • Learn Radar’s mission, technology stack and core values.
  • Complete onboarding and security compliance training.
  • Start contributing small but impactful code changes.
In your first 60 days, you will:
  • Ship a small-to-medium scoped features
  • Contribute to areas for technical improvement
  • Participate in writing internal documentation or onboarding updates.
In your first 90 days, you will:
    • Drive technical discussions around architecture or scalability
    • Be able to collaborate across teams and disciplines to advocate for a quality mobile product
    • Propose and speak to roadmap initiatives, new features and testing efforts that push our products forward

At RADAR, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. The expected base salary range for this position is $100,000.00 - $185,000.00. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors,  including job-related skills, experience and relevant education or training.You will also be eligible to receive other benefits including: equity, comprehensive medical and dental coverage, life and disability benefits, 401k plan,  flexible time off, and paid parental leave. The pay range listed for this position is a good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible base compensation at the time of posting.
