Our passion lies in reinventing card games infusing them with fresh mechanics, beautiful design, and social features that spark connection and excitement. As we continue to scale, we’re looking for creative, driven individuals who are excited to help shape the future of multiplayer mobile gaming in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Join us and be part of building something big from the ground up.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an ambitious and systems-minded Senior UI/UX Artist who is passionate about crafting user interfaces that are highly scalable, intuitive, and undeniably fun. We want someone who understands how to inject excitement and energy into every menu, button, and screen to keep our players deeply immersed.

This position can be full-time, part-time, remote, or based at our state-of-the-art offices in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, UAE.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Integrate 2D & 3D Elements: Masterfully blend our game's extensive 3D assets on top of 2D UI layers, maintaining clear visual hierarchy, depth, and a vibrant aesthetic within the constraints of a mobile screen.
  • Drive Visual UI Identity: Define the overall artistic vision, layout, and visual polish of the game’s user interface. You will transform abstract concepts into stunning, high-fidelity mobile UI assets that feel dynamic, colorful, and exciting.
  • Own the Mobile Figma Ecosystem: Build, scale, and maintain a robust, component-driven UI Design System within Figma, ensuring visual consistency and responsive behaviors across a wide variety of mobile devices and aspect ratios.
  • Mobile-First Component Design: Develop UI assets - from initial sketches to polished visual elements - with a strict focus on modularity, reusability, and mobile platform constraints.
  • Optimize with AI Workflows: Leverage generative AI and AI-driven design tools to accelerate brainstorming, rapidly iterate on mood boards, and streamline early-stage concepting/asset generation.
  • Bridge Design and Development: Collaborate closely with programmers and tech artists to ensure your Figma designs and 2D/3D UI systems are implemented accurately and maintain their high visual quality in-engine.
  • UX Wireframing & Prototyping: Create intuitive user flows, mockups, interactive prototypes, and iconography that prioritize the mobile player experience. Pay close attention to touch targets and ergonomics while ensuring every interaction feels rewarding, snappy, and fun.
What We’re Looking For

What you need to have:

  • 10+ years of professional game art experience, with at least 5+ years in a UI/UX art role.
  • Game-Centric Visual Art Skills: Exceptional eye for composition, color theory, typography, and layout, with a specific talent for creating stylized 2D UI art assets that pop on smaller screens.
  • Visual Art Direction Experience: Proven experience setting, communicating, and maintaining the visual art direction for shipped games, including guiding other artists, reviewing work, and ensuring a cohesive visual standard from concept through implementation.
  • F2P Meta Systems Knowledge: A strong understanding of modern mobile game meta features - such as Battle Passes, collection albums, progression tracks, and reward loops - with the ability to design interfaces that drive engagement and clearly communicate complex systems to players.
  • Mobile UI Expertise: Deep, working knowledge of mobile game UI design principles, including best practices for touch interfaces, gesture controls, and iOS/Android platform guidelines - knowing how to make an interface feel alive and engaging.
  • Shipped Mobile Titles: Experience working on the UI/UX of at least 2 shipped mobile titles (please include a portfolio with mobile-specific case studies/references that show off your visual flair).
  • Figma Mastery: Expert-level knowledge of Figma, including advanced features like auto-layout, nested components, variables, variants, and prototyping tailored for responsive mobile screens.
  • Adobe Creative Suite Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for rendering high-fidelity assets, stylized icon design, and creating custom vectors and textures.
  • Design Systems Expertise: A proven track record of creating and managing comprehensive UI design systems and style guides for complex mobile games or digital products.
  • AI Tool Literacy: Proficiency in integrating AI utilities (e.g., Figma AI features,ComfyUI, Leonardo or similar prompt-based toolsets) into your creative process to maximize workflow efficiency.
  • Structured Creativity: The ability to balance beautiful, exciting game art with structured, logical UI organization.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design system logic to developers, artists, and producers.

Nice to have:

  • Unity Knowledge: Working knowledge of Unity (specifically Unity UI / UIElements / UI Toolkit) to help bridge the gap between design handover, adding UI animations/particle effects, and in-game mobile implementation.
  • 3D Capability: Hands-on ability to create, light, or manipulate 3D elements for seamless integration into 2D UI spaces. (Blender or 3ds Max are preferred)

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
