Minority Depository Institution Sales Executive

What does a successful Sales Executive do?
The Sales Executive is responsible for building strategic relationships with senior leaders leading to the acquisition of new clients across Fiserv products and solutions. You will have a consistent record of opening new accounts and driving complex solutions sales and revenue growth. The Sales Executive needs to align prospects' vision and requirements with our solutions portfolio to deliver differentiated customer value. This role functions as a strategic advisor to the client, providing an in-depth understanding of the client’s business, goals, strategies, as well as industry trends and directions.

What you will do:

  • Sell solutions within Issuer Solutions, Card Services, Treasury Payments, Deposit, and Merchant Solutions into new client opportunities.
  • Establish a regular cadence of communication with clients at all levels and disciplines by effectively articulating the Fiserv value proposition.
  • Lead multiple opportunities concurrently in various stages of the selling cycle that will identify, execute, and close new business following sales process methodology.
  • Build a territory plan, work that plan, evaluate, and revise as required to maximize business opportunities.
  • Lead and develop account strategies including growth plans, budget, and project timelines.
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms leveraging appropriate deal review processes and work closely with relationship management on cross-sales opportunities.

What you will need to have:

  • Five or more years of experience in sales and/or business development roles with successful demonstrated performance against quotas.
  • Five or more years of experience in selling to large banks and credit unions.
  • Proven record of working with C-level executives, understanding their needs, and effectively networking within large financial institutions.
  • Minimum of five years of In-depth understanding of solution selling methodology and consultative sales approach.
  • Bachelor’s degree or a combination of work, education, and military experience
  • Up to 60% travel

What would be great to have:

  • Experience in technology software or services sales to large accounts with 5 years of experience.
  • Prior experience of successfully working in a dynamic, matrix environment.
  • Prior knowledge of Fiserv and former First Data product offerings.
  • MBA
  • Bilingual

 

Salary Range

$71,400.00 - $151,900.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in New York and California. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
