We’re currently looking for a Middle Product Designer to join our R&D Squad — one of the most strategic areas of the business. If you're ready to bring your product design skills to an ambitious, mission-driven team, we’d love to meet you!

🔍 About You
  • You have 2+ years of experience in product design, ideally in a fast-paced tech environment.
  • You’re confident in Figma, prototyping, and motion design tools.
  • You know your way around UI design principles and graphic design fundamentals.
  • You’ve worked as part of a cross-functional product team — and enjoy collaborating with product managers, developers, and researchers.
  • You're comfortable validating your work through usability testing (both qualitative and quantitative methods).
  • Your English level is B2 or higher — you can participate in meetings, give feedback, and collaborate with international teammates with ease.
💥 Your Area of Impact
  • Own the end-to-end design cycle within our R&D squad — from discovery and hypothesis generation to prototyping, testing, and iterating.
  • Partner with PMs, engineers, researchers, and writers to ship meaningful product updates.
  • Test ideas and validate your design decisions through usability testing and A/B experiments.
  • Actively contribute to team rituals like design critiques, research sessions, and hypothesis validation discussions.
  • Dedicate part of your time (up to 15%) to enhancing our payment experience, a key area of user interaction and business impact.
🌟 What We Offer
  • A high-impact role in a fast-growing, mission-driven company transforming how people learn languages.
  • The chance to design for scale, with 1M+ monthly users and a global audience.
  • A product-first environment where design has a direct line to business results and user experience.
  • A remote-first culture with flexible hours and full trust in your autonomy.
  • A supportive, feedback-driven team that invests in your growth and helps you do your best work.
🎁 Perks & Benefits🎓 Growth & Learning
  • Compensation for external courses, events, and certifications
  • Access to a rich digital library and learning materials
  • Participation in English classes, Speaking Clubs, and Promova Premium

  • Work remotely from any safe location worldwide
  • Flexible working hours and remote-first approach
  • 20 paid vacation days per year
  • Unlimited sick leave
  • Mental health support
  • Medical insurance coverage
  • Power station reimbursement and other support for remote work
🏄🏼‍♂️ Culture & Community
  • Budget for team meetups and remote team-building activities
  • Freedom to test ideas, learn fast, and make a visible impact
  • A culture that values openness, experimentation, and mutual respect

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
