In this role, you will:
- Manage, lead, and develop Mid-Corporate Portfolio Management projects and teams of individual contributors and managers in roles with low to moderate complexity and risk
- Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development within Mid-Corporate Portfolio Management functional area
- Make decisions and resolve issues regarding resources, objectives and operations of Mid-Corporate Portfolio functional area and team to meet business objectives; interpret and develop policies and procedures for functions with low to moderate complexity within scope of responsibility
- Collaborate with and consult with peers, colleagues, multiple levels of managers and external customers
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Mid-Corporate Portfolio Management
- Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent
- Continue to underwrite complex credit and structure debt for clients with annual revenue of $100MM+.
- 4+ years of Mid-Corporate Portfolio Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 2+ years of Leadership experience
- Tech Industry experience to assist in underwriting as additional job responsibilities.
- Ability to think strategically and in a detailed manner.
- Responsible for leading in a player / coach role.
- Collaborating with Relationship Managers in Technology Banking Group, Senior Lead Portfolio Managers and Independent Risk Management to evaluate risk decisions and opportunities.
- Experience with complex credit, underwriting, and debt structure for clients with annual revenue of $100M+ in a Mid-Corporate Portfolio
- Completion of a formal credit training program
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of core banking products and services such as, commercial lending and treasury management
- Experience developing and maintaining external and internal partnerships
- Experience in swiftly adopting and executing change management to enable business growth
- Experience identifying risk, ensuring compliance with processes, and mitigating risk issues
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business
- This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
- This position offers a hybrid work schedule
- Specific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired.
