Via is looking for a Software Engineer to help us continue building out our modern web apps and platform. Hybrid and remote options available for Los Angeles or Utah based folks.

Responsibilities

• Work with other engineers to design and implement quality software solutions
• Work on an Agile team that moves fast and is passionate about building quality software

Qualifications & Skills

• 4+ years of industry experience
• Deep experience with React
• Able to take complex Figma designs and build to spec
• Experience with NodeJS/Typescript
• Experience with PostgreSQL and relational database design
• Working knowledge of MongoDB and other NoSQL databases a plus
• Strong experience with a modern and mature CICD posture and what that entails. For example, pipeline strategy and automation testing across Unit, Integration and End to End
• Experience with cloud architecture and services (especially AWS)
• Experience with containerization (Docker, kubernetes) Comfortable with Unix/Linux systems
• Excited about documentation and communication
