We’re looking for an entry to mid-level Product Designer to join the 5-person design team in the Growth track at PandaDoc. Growth experience is a plus, but absolutely not mandatory. We're looking for someone who's excited to dive into all sorts of product design, from hypothesis-driven experiments to regular end-to-end projects, and who cares about craft, users and hitting our business goals.

What you’ll do at PandaDoc:
  • Shape intuitive, user-centric, frictionless, and engaging journeys;
  • Work closely with product managers, engineers, data and research to deliver high-impact, high-quality outcomes;
  • Conduct research to understand user behaviours, needs, and barriers to adopting and monetizing with PandaDoc;
  • Develop and iterate on designs and prototypes that effectively communicate design ideas;
  • Work with product management to develop and test hypotheses, using both quantitative and qualitative methods to validate designs;
  • Advocate for best practices in design, bringing in a fresh perspective while ensuring a consistent and user-centric approach across all touchpoints you own;
We’d love to hear from you if you:
  • Have 2+ years of experience in product design, with the ability to work on both fast paced experiments as well as end-to-end product design projects;
  • Are a Figma expert and can demonstrate a sharp eye and skill at product and interaction design;
  • Have excellent English communication (minimum C1) and collaboration skills — sell us on your storytelling;
  • Are coachable with a commitment to continuous improvement and learning.

Bonus points if you:

  • Have any motion or graphic design knowledge;
  • Have experience in Growth or driving business impact with your design work;

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
