This role will support digital agreement workflows, eSignature, CLM, document generation, workflow integration, and secure transaction automation while helping the customer deliver secure, reliable, accessible, and maintainable digital services. The successful candidate will develop, configure, test, document, and support platform capabilities under the direction of senior engineers and architects and will work closely with government stakeholders, architects, engineers, product owners, cybersecurity, operations, and business users to convert requirements into mission-aligned platform capabilities.

The Mid-Level DocuSign / CLM Developer will provide hands-on platform development or integration support for DocuSign capabilities within the CRM, Integration, and Platform Services environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, configure, develop, integrate, test, document, and sustain DocuSign capabilities using DocuSign eSignature, CLM, templates, envelopes, PowerForms, Connect webhooks, REST APIs, identity integration, workflow configuration, and reporting.

  • Troubleshoot complex issues across platform configuration, code, data, APIs, identity, security, performance, and user experience.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity, privacy, data, infrastructure, QA, and change management teams to align delivery with federal operating expectations.
  • Maintain clear technical documentation, design decisions, implementation notes, test evidence, and operational runbooks.

Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in hands-on platform development or integration, preferably in complex enterprise or government environments.
  • Hands-on experience with DocuSign implementation, configuration, development, integration, testing, or operations.
  • Experience working with Agile delivery teams and translating stakeholder needs into maintainable technical outcomes.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • DocuSign certification, CLM implementation training, Salesforce certification, API integration certification, or comparable platform credential.
  • Experience supporting federal government IT environments, Public Trust programs, or regulated enterprise delivery.
  • Experience with Section 508, cybersecurity, auditability, data protection, and operational documentation expectations.

Required Skills and Competencies:
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of DocuSign capabilities, implementation patterns, administration, development, integration, and lifecycle management.
  • Ability to design and implement secure, supportable, upgrade-aware solutions that avoid unnecessary customization and reduce technical debt.
  • Experience with APIs, identity and access controls, data management, testing, monitoring, troubleshooting, and release coordination.
  • Ability to document technical designs, configuration decisions, operational procedures, test results, and risks in clear business and technical language.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work across government stakeholders, product owners, engineers, QA, cybersecurity, and operations teams.
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Preferred Skills and Competencies:
  • Experience with DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, infrastructure as code, or platform release automation.
  • Knowledge of federal security and compliance concepts including NIST controls, FISMA, FedRAMP-authorized services, audit evidence, and least privilege.
  • Experience improving platform governance, reuse, documentation, observability, and operational readiness.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, ServiceNow, Atlassian, Snowflake, data catalog, CRM, or enterprise integration ecosystems.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
