This role can be located anywhere in the United States.

We are seeking an experienced D365 Solution Architect with a strong functional background to join our team. In this role, you will lead the architecture, design, and implementation of comprehensive D365 solutions that closely align with our clients' business strategies, with a particular focus on supply chain in addition to Finance & Operations (F&O). This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage your functional expertise and business acumen to deliver impactful D365 solutions that drive business success.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead the end-to-end solution architecture and design, ensuring solutions are aligned with business needs and best practices.
  • Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze core business processes, and translate these into functional solutions within D365.
  • Provide expertise in configuring and customizing D365 F&O modules, including Supply Chain Management (Inventory, Procurement, Production), Finance, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, and Project Accounting.
  • Design and document solution architectures, data flows, integration points, and process flow to ensure scalability, security, and compliance.
  • Offer strategic guidance on product capabilities, considering industry standards, future scalability, and client-specific needs.
  • Facilitate workshops, assessments, solution design sessions, and demonstrations, clearly communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Support the implementation team with functional specifications, testing, and process improvements.
  • Stay updated on Microsoft D365 product developments as well as industry trends.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related fields (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, with a strong focus on functional solution design.
  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Lead Consultant performing D365 implementations, especially in complex, multi-entity, and project-driven environments.
  • Understanding of supply chain processes, inventory management, procurement, and production within D365.
  • Experience in integrating D365 with other enterprise systems and third-party tools.
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills, with the ability to liaise effectively between technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 10%.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Certified in D365 or related modules.
  • Experience with Power Platform tools (Power BI, Power Automate) and Azure integrations.
  • Exposure to industries such as manufacturing, construction, engineering, or professional services.
  • Experience leading global or multi-country system rollouts.
